I think I drew this at a point when Wal-Mart was really lobbying hard to build a store in Boulder, and I got three calls in a week from "independent marketing firms" asking me if I wanted to take a short survey about my local discount shopping opinions. Fortunately, the City Council and the general "Keep Boulder Weird" movement prevailed, and there is still no Wal-Mart in my city. Granted, we do have a Target in town and there is seven Wal-Mart SuperCenters in every adjacent suburb, but still. I love living in Boulder because it is weird, proud and supports independent business. And it is pretty!

BUT WAIT! THERE IS EVEN MORE!!
